I’ve been working with animals for 10 years.

I live with my two dogs, Saffi and Astra, a cat named Cypah, and Echo, a chubby rescue pony who now happily eats all the food she wants.

I started dog training with a troubled dog named DJ who had extremely high levels of anxiety and displayed aggression toward people and other dogs. DJ taught me big lessons in animal stress and how it shows up in their body language, behaviour and mental perceptions.

I continued with Astra, who has also been an anxious soul since she was 8 weeks old. For the first four years of her life, I deep dived into canine behaviour, training and the emotion side of animals that impacts their behaviour. Over the last 10 years, she and I have built nurturing relationship that often feels a little magical.

In 2017 I trained as a kinesiologist and started adding natural therapy to my work with animals, seeing amazing results in both my own animals and with clients.

My passion is helping people solve their animal’s health and behaviour problems in a holistic, whole picture way. Sometimes this includes practical training and setting the animal up for success with good management, sometimes shifting trauma and stress with kinesiology is needed. Bringing both training and kinesiology together is where a special transformation can happen.

Over the years, I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, birds and farm animals. I’ve seen beautiful changes in animal behaviour when trust and communication is created and humans and animals form a deep, connected relationship.

I believe it’s never too late to make a big difference in an animal’s life and the joy, love and companionship they give back is something I’ll always be grateful for.

If you have a companion animal with problem behaviour or a health issue and you’d like to see that change for the better, let’s connect!
