Animal Kinesiology
Kinesiology therapy is a whole body approach to wellness. It actively brings the body back into balance for optimal health.
What does animal kinesiology help?
Animal kinesiology has a wide range of applications for your animal’s health and behavioural needs. Here is a list of common issues kinesiology is used for.
Physical Health:
Food allergies
Skin reactions
Gut issues
Illness Recovery
Behaviour problems:
Reactive behaviour
Fear & stress
Traumatic experiences
Timid or shut down behaviour
What happens in a kinesiology session?
Kinesiology therapy uses muscle testing to assess the current health state of your animal.
Stress is a key aspect we look at during a kinesiology session with your animal. When the body is under stress or is experiencing misalignment, we often see signs of physical issues and behavioural problems as a result.
Using muscle testing, we find the right balancing technique tailored to your animal’s body and issue.
During our session, we look at the whole body, both physically, mental and emotionally.
For example: If your dog is struggling with anxiety, their adrenal stress response could be impacting their gut health. If your cat has skin allergies, there might be an emotional aspect involved that also needs support.
If your animal is in a form of fight, flight or freeze, stress hormones hinder, reduce and compromise the normal function of the body and kinesiology looks to rebalance this state, clear physical and mental blocks and turn the body back on.
Kinesiology draws on traditional Chinese medicine principles. It uses techniques such as acupressure, intuitive food testing, adrenal reset therapy and emotional release work to realign your animal back into a state of health.
